We are currently seeking a skilled Mechanical Technician to join our operations in Grenada and support the delivery of technically complex and high-end projects.

Job Description

We are looking for a hands-on Mechanical Technician responsible for the installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of mechanical systems and equipment. The ideal candidate will ensure operational efficiency and reliability across our project sites by performing preventive maintenance, conducting technical inspections, and supporting the engineering team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Install, maintain, and repair mechanical systems, machinery, and equipment.
  • Perform routine inspections to detect signs of wear, damage, or malfunction.
  • Diagnose mechanical issues using technical tools, manuals, and blueprints.
  • Replace or repair defective components and test for proper functionality.
  • Interpret and work from mechanical drawings, schematics, and manuals.
  • Operate hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment safely and effectively.
  • Coordinate with engineers and other technical staff to optimize equipment performance.
  • Document installation, repair, and maintenance activities accurately.
  • Follow all safety protocols, regulations, and company procedures.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Diploma or Technical Certification in Mechanical Technology or a related field.
  • Proven work experience as a Mechanical Technician or in a similar technical role.
  • Strong proficiency with mechanical tools, measuring instruments, and diagnostic equipment.
  • Ability to analyze and solve mechanical problems under pressure.
  • Basic communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in diverse teams.
  • High attention to detail and a strong commitment to workplace safety.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in swimming pools, water treatment, or wastewater treatment projects.
  • Previous experience working in an international or multicultural environment.
  • Knowledge of water pumps, filtration systems, dosing equipment, and control valves.
